WHO WE ARE
The Shore Points Church is a family of disciples who are committed to following our Lord Jesus Christ and all of his teachings. We are a fellowship consisting of men and women of all racial and social backgrounds, who are thankful for God’s grace and mercy. We are committed to studying the Bible and learning more and more about the life of devotion that his grace teaches us.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the inspired word of God and is to be our guide for living as followers of Christ (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Salvation is available only through Jesus Christ (John 14:1-6) and is a gift from God through faith in his grace (Ephesians 2:8), God has given us baptism so that through faith, we can die to our old selves and live to God (Romans 6:3-13; Galatians 2:20-21), receive the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). The focus of our lives is to love God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength and our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:28-31). The Holy Spirit, which we receive at baptism (Acts 2:38), gives us the power to change (Galatians 5:18-26). We have fellowship with all those of the same mind and are always striving to maintain the bond of unity (Ephesians 4:1-6).
